FAQ
What ages is this event suitable for?
It is designed for children aged 5–11, including complete beginners. No previous musical experience is needed. Just come along, have fun and enjoy making some Christmas music!
Which musical instruments will my child get to try?
During the 45-minute session, your child will have the chance to explore three types of instruments: piano, violin and woodwind. With guidance from our friendly tutors, they’ll discover different sounds and try playing a few notes from familiar Christmas carols.
What is included in the ticket price?
Every ticket includes a 45-minute Christmas music session and a separate private online or in person music lesson with a MuseCool tutor after the event.
How does the private music lesson work?
After the event, our team will contact you to arrange a private lesson with a suitable tutor on your child’s chosen instrument. We’ll help you find a convenient day and time, either online or at your home, depending on the ticket you selected.
Does my child need their own instrument?
Not at all! All instruments are provided during the Christmas event. If your child would like to continue learning but you don’t have an instrument at home, we can arrange one for them to use for the first month, absolutely for free!
When does my child need to choose an instrument?
There’s no need to decide before the event! Your child can try different instruments during the session and see which one they enjoy most. Afterwards, simply let us know their favourite, and we’ll help arrange their private lesson.
Can the private lesson take place at our home?
Yes! We offer private music lessons at home in many areas of London. Choose the in-person ticket, and our team will check tutor availability in your area.
Do parents need to buy a ticket?
No, accompanying adults attend for free. You only need to purchase a ticket for each child taking part in the session. We ask that a parent or responsible adult stays with their child during the event.
